Can I register more than one account?

NovaTech allows members to register either one personal account - OR - one business account.

As of July 6, 2021, users can no longer register both a personal and business account.

Business accounts may be used to register an account for a multitude of reasons, however as proof of ownership, it is required that the account holder's first and last name be included with the registration. This is for internal identification purposes only. Business accounts will only ever be displayed as the business name. Please note in order to register a business, you must provide an EIN or business certificate along with proof of more than 50% ownership.


WHAT IF I ALREADY REGISTERED 2 ACCOUNTS? 

Existing members who registered prior to July 6, 2021 were allowed to each have one personal plus one business account. These users will be allowed to keep their existing business and personal accounts. However, please note users have NEVER been able to register more than one personal and/or business account, and doing so is in violation of our policies and procedures. Accounts found in violation of this policy will be asked to withdraw their balances and the account closed. These accounts will not be permitted to change ownership, nor change from to business, nor business to personal, in an effort to keep the account open.

Again, these accounts cannot be reassigned to new users or businesses. 



IF I REGISTERED ONLY 1 ACCOUNT, CAN I CHANGE THE ACCOUNT TYPE? 

If you have only 1 account registered which is not in violation of our policies and procedures, you will be allowed to change it from a personal to a business account, or from a business to a personal account. However, this cannot be done for the purpose of opening additional accounts or changing the registration of an account that was opened in violation of our policies and procedures.
